The new Westwood View Elementary School replaces an aging facility while honoring the community’s history and character. Built on a tight neighborhood site and into a hillside, the project required heavy demolition and structural cast-in-place walls to navigate the site’s varying elevations. This project features graphics with bright, geometric shapes that serve as learning tools, enhancing the educational experience. Each classroom features wayfinding markers, connecting students to their surroundings. Westwood View achieved LEED Silver Certification.
