Park Hill School District
Angeline Washington Elementary School
Newkirk Novak Construction Partners completed the new Angeline Washington Elementary School, Park Hill School District’s 12th elementary building, which opened in August 2025. The building features classrooms, spaces dedicated to Special Education, intervention and collaboration zones, a media center, cafeteria, gymnasium, and playground. The large site, located in Parkville, MO, sits within the Creekside Development.
Features of the school pay homage to its remarkable namesake: Angeline Washington, who was born enslaved in 1837, gained her freedom, married William Washington in 1855, and went on to pioneer educational and religious opportunities for people of color in the Parkville area.
