Lewis Elementary has been a long-standing staple of the Excelsior Springs School District for over 70 years. Due to much-needed facility upgrades, the decision was made to build a new 71,000 square foot elementary school. This two-story building addresses the unique challenges of its tight, flat site while maintaining architectural consistency across district facilities. With a capacity for 500 students, the new school will provide a modern, adaptable learning environment, ensuring long-term functionality and enhanced educational opportunities for the community.
