Excelsior Springs School District 2020 Bond Program

Excelsior Springs, MO

In response to continued growth and ongoing maintenance issues, the Excelsior Springs School District successfully passed a $24 million bond program in June 2020. The new 76,000 SF Cornerstone Elementary school increases capacity and addresses growth on the District’s west side. This new school serves as a replacement for the existing Westview Elementary, which was converted into the District’s new Early Childhood Center as part of the bond improvements. Elkhorn Elementary received a FEMA storm shelter addition and MEP upgrades. Renovations to the high school commons and additional district-wide MEP upgrades will alleviate maintenance concerns and reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
